chime i
is a bell from Thai Airways
hung to the laundry line
high up in the air
away in faraway land
reminds me of childhood
it chime
frantic with the wind
a lullaby in summer
poetic when i am alone
musical when i am down
miss home even more
chime ii
is made of bamboo
sounds like a percussion
when the wind blows continuosly
from the Danga Bay
up to the balcony on the hill
chime iii
is made of shells
clanking when hit by wind
from the beach nearby
noisy during monsoon
chime iv
is a light wooden birdnest
attached to a metal tube
that jingles less in the hill
rythm softly but with a pitch
All chime
anywhere we live
as the family grows
the wind never ceased
the memories live on
its becoming part of home
